Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out how Punky Funky Jewellery collects, uses, shares and protects any information that you give Punky Funky Jewellery when you use this website, or when you contact me.

Punky Funky Jewellery is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Punky Funky Jewellery does not disclose your information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment (via Paypal). In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, such as Paypal and Create.

To be able to fulfil your order, you are required to provide me with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for personalised and customised orders), if you contact me directly.

I rely on several legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

– as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
– if necessary to comply with any legal obligations or court orders, or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
– as necessary for the purpose of my appropriate interests, if those appropriate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests. For example, when providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I only share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances. Such as, with service providers, business transfers and to comply with laws.

– I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies (i.e. Royal Mail) and Paypal. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
– If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.
– I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I believe it to be reasonably necessary to be able to respond to legal process or to government requests; enforce my agreements, terms and policies; prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

I will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for six years.

As this website is hosted by Create., and I accept payment via Paypal, I store and process information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. Both my Create. and Paypal are password protected to ensure the information stored within them is secure.

If you live in certain territories you have several rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. The following rights are explained below: Access, Change, restrict or delete, Object and Complain.

– You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
– You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Except for exceptional circumstances (such as when I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will delete your personal information upon request.
– You can object to my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests, as well as receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
– If you reside in the UK and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

For purposes of UK data protection law, I, Cassandra Jackson, am the data controller of your personal information. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me at [email protected]. Alternately, you may contact me at:

Colours, Sizes & Products

Colours of all items as shown in the respective pictures are close approximations of the actual colour. This is because colours and shades vary from one computer monitor to another. All sizes are approximations. All products are shown and described in as much detail as possible. Personalised hand stamped items will be stamped exactly as you tell me. I cannot be held responsible for any spelling mistakes made by you once your order has been started. If you have a question about a product, please contact me.

Delivery Policy

UK: Orders will be posted by Royal Mail 1st class. Postage upgrades are available at checkout. Please notify me if your goods do not arrive with you within 11 working days from the date it is posted. As all packages are sent by royal mail I will be able to track it to some extent. The outcome of the tracking will determine what action is taken next. If you wish to discuss this further, please contact me.

Overseas: Unfortunately I do not currently post outside of the UK.

Postage costs do not include any tax or import fees you may be charged.

If an item is returned to me due to it being unable to be delivered, the buyer is responsible for the postage costs to re-post it. An example of this is, if no one was home when it was first tried to be delivered, it was then never collected from the Post Office and is then returned to myself.

I aim to despatch your order as quickly as possible. Please see the home page when ordering to stay up to date with my current turnaround time. You will be notified by e-mail of any delays to this schedule.. Please contact me for urgent orders, or if you would like to discuss the despatch time frame.

I only post to the address provided by you, and attached to your payment. It is your responsibility to ensure that the address provided is full and correct. I cannot accept any responsibility for non delivery because of the wrong address provided.

International Shipping Outside Of The United Kingdom

I cannot be responsible for any tariffs, customs restrictions, or other regulations that apply in countries outside of the United Kingdom. You are responsible for any duties or taxes that may apply to the shipment of any products to your country. By law, I am obligated to report the exact amount of the sale on the Customs form. As a customer, it is your responsibility to comply with international, national or local laws regulating importation of products you have purchased. You will be responsible for the entire package cost if it is seized and it is not returned to me.

Returns & Right To Cancel

I want you to be 100% satisfied with your order. If you have ordered something, and then change your mind, you have a right to cancel. Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back. The return postage of an item you have changed your mind about is your responsibility. A refund will be given upon receipt of the item/s in as new and unused condition. Please contact me if you wish to return your goods. I can then provide you with a return address and confirmation of your cancellation. Please pack your order carefully and enclose a note of explanation, along with your name and website order number or PayPal transaction number to enable me to identify your order. The goods are your responsibility until I receive them. You may wish to use recorded delivery to return them for extra piece of mind. Always ask for proof of postage when returning an item. Refunds will only be given when the item arrives with me.

Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, unless damaged or faulty upon arrival.

Personalised items and goods that are made to the customer’s specification and/or personalised are exempt from the right to cancel. These items can only be returned and refunded if they are faulty, not because you have changed your mind. It may be possible to cancel your order providing work has not already begun on your order. Please contact me to discuss cancelling an order which consists of personalised items.

If you receive a damaged or faulty item from Punky Funky Jewellery, please contact me to discuss within 14 days of receiving your order.

For faulty orders:

  • You must provide photographic evidence of the item and packaging prior to returning the item.
  • If you decide you would like an exchange, I will do my best to fulfil this. However, this may not always be possible. In which case you will be offered a refund.
  • Where suitable a pre-paid returns label will be provided. A full refund, including outbound postage costs will only be given once the damaged/faulty items arrive with me.. Please pack your order carefully and enclose a note of explanation, along with your name and webite order number or PayPal transaction number to enable me to identify your order. The goods are your responsibility until I receive them. You may wish to use recorded delivery to return them for extra piece of mind. Always ask for proof of postage when returning an item.
